Hot Pink Lemonade

Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup water (for the simple syrup)
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- Ice cubes
Directions:
1. Make the Simple Syrup:
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the granulated sugar.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

2. Juice the Lemons:
- Roll the lemons on the countertop with the palm of your hand to help release the juice.
- Cut the lemons in half and juice them using a citrus juicer or reamer to obtain 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.

3. Mix the Lemonade:
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and the cooled simple syrup.
- Add 2 cups of cold water and 1 cup of cranberry juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.

4. Serve:
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the hot pink lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves if desired.

- For a more intense pink color, you can add a bit more cranberry juice. Enjoy!
